History
Following the pattern of truly remarkable success stories Cris-Tim history has humble beginnings: a simple food stand started in 1991.
20 years have passed since then. Now Cris-Tim is known in the market as a dynamic company that values quality and innovation. These are the key points in our evolution:
1992 – first stand with an area of 12 square meters
1994 – first small factory producing only 2 tons per day
1997 – first two sales agents using second hand cars
1998 – a new factory with capacity of 20 tons per day.
2000 – first two distribution centres outside Bucharest, in Iasi and Craiova
2002 – we launch Salam Sasesc trademark and become the most appreciated and acknowledged cold cuts producer;
– we extend the business starting our farm
2003 – a new factory for raw-dried cold cuts, the most noble products in the meat industry.
2004 – the best distribution in the meat industry
2005 – other two new factories producing ham and Cris-Tim specialties
2006 – we implement innovative packaging: Fresh Box, Ideal Pack, Safe Pack
2007 – we start to use another innovative solution for packing the boiled-smoked salamis, called Gust +.
2008 – we continue to communicate our products through a national sales campaign, with an innovative mechanism in the cold cuts industry.
2009 – restructuring and rendering the business more efficient
2011 – we start to use High Pressure Technology in order to make our products safer
– we include in our portfolio the Matache Macelaru' brand
